Collect Metadata

Use the Collect Metadata component to ask a subscriber to respond with a value that will be stored as metadata. This value will be added to the user profile, where it can be applied to smart segments for subscriber lists

Tip: You can add a new metadata field to the user profile and then add the Collect Metadata component to add user data. For more information, see Adding metadata fields to user profiles.

For more information on working with campaigns, see Creating a new campaign or Editing a campaign.

To add the Collect Metadata component from the campaign page:

  3. If components have already been added to the campaign, select the placement of the new component in the list on the right.
